You are invited to buy goods (blinds) from cantiees.co.uk. When buying products from us, a legally binding contract with you and cantiees.co.uk will arise.
Once you have entered the requirements for your order and the payment has been processed via our secure site, you will be notified by email confirming your order and the price you have agreed to pay. Credit / debit cards will be charged at 2.5%. Paypal 2%. Postal orders and cheques are free.
We will debit the price from your debit or credit card when we receive your order - or as-soon-as is reasonably practical thereafter.
We cannot be held responsible for any incorrect measurements. We will manufacture your blinds to the sizes you provided at the time of placing your order.
The product information and photographs contained within our website are provided for illustrative purposes only and we cannot warrant that they are accurate. If you are in any doubt as to the precise nature of the fabric you wish to order you are advised to order a free fabric sample.
As the goods which you order are manufactured according to the measurements you provided in your order, it is very important that your measurements are accurate. We cannot accept the return of the goods by reason of the measurements provided being incorrect. If you would like guidance on how to take the required measurements accurately, you are advised to read the How to Measure and Fit page of our website, call our enquiry line on 01204 410041 or contact us by email. Any dispute with regards to your measurement's and or the fitting of your blind, or blinds, would need to be supported by pictures of the area the blinds are intended for.
Whilst every attempt will be made by cantiees.co.uk to ensure that the goods sold and delivered match in every respect any sample or description shown or given or sent to you, any minor or immaterial variation or change in colour or pattern between the sample or description and the goods delivered shall not entitle you to reject the goods nor to claim any compensation for such variation or change.
Wood is a natural product and there may be some colour and grain variation between slats. Over time there may be a mellowing of colour depending on exposure to the sun. You may find that the surroundings will effect the way your blind reacts as the slats can absorb and release moisture, especially in steamy environments such as kitchens/bathrooms and extreme temperatures. A small amount of warping could be experienced and as it is a natural condition of wood this would not warrant a replacement blind.
Estimated delivery time scales If ordered before 12 Noon please allow 5 to 10 clear working days. We will endeavour to deliver on the 10th day. Deliveries run Monday to Friday.
Cantiees.co.uk will deliver your goods to the address you have provided on the order form, endeavouring to meet our optimum of 10 working days, please allow 10 clear working days from the day you place your order if before 12 Noon, if your order has not arrived after 11 working days contact us via email with your order number and we will provide you with a progress update, or a consignment number so you can track your order. (Please do not contact us before 10 clear working days as we will not have the information). And in any event, within 30 days after the date your order was placed. If more than one item is ordered, Please note delivery estimates given do not allow for Bank Holidays, Easter, or Christmas.
Sometimes fabrics may go out of stock, which means we cannot guarantee our delivery times to you. If for some reason you have missed your delivery, a card will be left informing you that we have, 1. Delivered to a neighbour or 2. collect your blinds from your local depot. You will be notified which carrier has tried to deliver on the card left at the delivery address.
Please note our carriers will not provide a specific day or time slot, the goods will be delivered between 8am & 6pm Monday to Friday we cannot be held responsible if you are out at the time of delivery, please ensure the delivery address provided will have someone available to receive the goods.
Your blinds will be sent to your billing address or your neighbour by special instructions.
We cannot be held reasonable for courier delays and or postal strikes, but will endeavour to deliver your order as quickly as possible. Weekday delivery dates given are estimates, not a guarantee that the blinds will be delivered on that specific day.
Upon receipt of your blinds please check for damage if the packaging is damaged sign for the goods as (DAMAGED) or (DAMAGED UNOPENED) and report this to us immediately, if the BLIND is damaged.
REFUNDS AND REPLACEMENTS
Components which require returning for a refund will receive a full refund if the spares are faulty, or a replacement if damaged. Customers requiring a refund for components ordered in error will be refunded less our postage cost to deliver.
Ownership and risk of the goods will pass to you once they have been delivered to you or collected by you. We cannot be held responsible for a delayed postal service or strike etc.
Deliveries can be made in Mainland Scotland, Wales, England. If you intend to employ a fitter to install your blinds, be advised that we cantiees suggest that a date is not agreed until you have received all your order, and that you have checked that all the components and blinds are complete and undamaged. This will give us time to address any problems you may have before the installation day.
cantiees.co.uk warrants that all goods sold to you will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months from delivery of the goods to you.
If your goods are defective on delivery or a fault arises within 12 months of your purchase, we will either repair or replace your blind free of charge with a product of similar quality and specification - providing the goods have not been modified, misused or the subject of negligence.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
You will need to have contacted us via email/telephone or in writing at the address given on our contact us page, giving us full details of the fault.
We will advise you whether the goods should be returned to us if it appears that the goods are defective. We will advise on how to pack your goods ready for collection to return them to us.
You cannot change or cancel your order because the blinds are custom made to your requirements and will not be re-saleable once your order has been accepted by us and entered on our manufacturing process at the time of payment.
We reserve the right to cancel your order if we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered or the fabric you have selected has been discontinued. You will be informed by email and offered an alternative. If these are not suitable then a full refund of the blind in question will be re-credited to your account within 30 days of your order and the order will be terminated. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for the disappointment suffered. In the event of a fabric being temporarily out of stock you will be notified and given an estimated time of delivery.
The price for any goods ordered by you will be the price displayed within the shopping basket prior to your confirmation that you wish to proceed with your order.
By placing an order you authorise cantiees.co.uk, at its discretion, to carry out a credit reference or other enquiry upon your financial status that cantiees.co.uk thinks fit. You agree to provide such written authorisations that may be required for the purposes of such enquiry. In the absence of such authorisation we will be unable to process your order.

In the interest of safety consider your blind control position, please keep all pull cords and chains out of the reach of children. Move cots beds and other furniture away from blinds and install safety devices, such as cleats and cord tidies, to limit access to cords. Hanging cords can be a potential risk to children, so the greatest care needs to be taken at all times.
